Support Eudora 5
Create a new Eudora 5 account...

When you open Eudora for the first time, it should come up with the Internet Connection Wizard. If so, please follow the instructions as provided. If you don't see the wizard, CLICK HERE to run through and change your settings.
  1. If you see a "Introduction" screen, Click OK.



  2. If you see a "Welcome to Eudora!" screen, Click Next.
    • Click Next.



  3. Select "Create a brand new email account".
    • Click Next.



  4. Type in your name next to "Your Name:"
    For example: John Smith
    • Click Next.



  5. Type in your username@hcis.net.
    For example: jsmith@hcis.net
    • Click Next.



  6. Type in your username for the "Login Name:"
    For example: jsmith
    • Click Next.



  7. Type in mail.hcis.net for the "Incoming Server:"
    • Select POP.
    • Click Next.



  8. Type in mail.hcis.net for the "Outgoing Server:"
    • Uncheck "Allow Authentication".
    • Click Next.



  9. Click Finish.
